At Vegitalian we wake up, cook, meet and serve with a leading purpose every day: to firepower the plant-based food revolution. We wish to make people and our planet happier and healthier, by simply doing what we love: serving customers a new experience of vegetarian and plant-based food. For this role, the most important skill is to have unlimited energy, disciplined commitment and an eagerness to learn and grow till this glove suits you perfect! Those skills don’t sound like superpowers to you, but as your daily self. As a delivery manager, you have an overall responsibility for daily operation in the delivery department. Together with the Restaurant Manager and Chef you are responsible for the culinary standards of our guests at home.
You are a people person and know -and love- how to deal with the variety of characters, cultures and experiences in your delivery team. You consider it your personal challenge to manage, train and recruit a brigade of passionate delivery staff to ensure a real sense of passion and community. You are ready to build a smooth, fun and high quality operation of Vegitalian delivery!
WHO YOU ARE
to be successful in this role, we believe that you:
- know how to be a disciplined worker yourself. Relevant management experience is not a must, we will teach you the management part.
- have natural leadership skills and know how to give clear instructions.
- are a source of inspiration as you lead and motivate our delivery staff.
- serve as an example for the young delivery staff, with your unlimited energy and disciplined commitment!
- care about including and connecting people; both guests and your colleagues
- love to inspire guests by sharing your passion for Vegitalian’s concept and vision
- like to personally interact with guests and make them feel good and appreciated
- know how to maintain our delivery equipment.
- get excited from training and teaching (new) delivery staff.
- feel comfortable working closely with the other department supervisors and location manager to ensure smooth and profitable overall operations.
